Potato bake would have to be one of my favourite side dishes. I could even eat it as a main very easily. This recipe I have to credit to mum as I think she invented it. It’s very easy and sooo good!
Firstly, slice up the potatoes thinly and layer them on the bottom of the baking dish. I generally use 1 big potato per person. No need to peel them unless you really want to.
In a jug, mix up 1 cup of cream, 2 crushed cloves of garlic, 1/2 teaspoon of nutmeg, salt, pepper and some grated parmesan (amount depends how naughty you want to be). Pour the mixture over the potatoes. Bake in a 180C degree (fan-forced) oven for 35-40 minutes or until the potatoes are golden and soft. Enjoy!
