This Raspberry Dairy Free Smoothie is a refreshing, naturally sweet way to start your day. Packed with vibrant fruit and wholegrain oats, it’s a quick, filling breakfast or nourishing snack the whole family will love.

Raspberries are a big favourite around here. If you love them too you might want to try: Raspberry and White Chocolate Healthy Muffins or Raspberry One Bowl Banana Bread.

  • ⏲️ 5 mins max.
  • 🛒 Ingredients: 5 simple ingredients.
  • 🍽️ Makes: 2 smoothies.
  • 🧑‍🍳 Difficulty: Super simple kid-friendly recipe.
  • 🗃️ Make ahead: Needs to be made fresh.

I know you're not meant to have cold breakfasts in winter but I am a smoothie-all-year-round girl and this one is a favourite for a very quick breakfast.

It's sweet, creamy (but without dairy) and hits the spot.

Why Make This Raspberry Dairy Free Smoothie

  1. QUICK – This smoothie is quick to make, perfect for busy mornings when you need breakfast fast.
  2. FILLING – The oats and fruit help make it more satisfying and keep you fuller for longer.
  3. DAIRY-FREE – It’s naturally dairy free, making it a great option for families with intolerances or anyone wanting a lighter smoothie that's still creamy.
  4. DELICIOUS – The raspberry and passionfruit combination makes it taste fresh, fruity and café-worthy while still being wholesome.
  5. GRAB-AND-GO – It’s an easy breakfast or snack option you can take in the car, to school drop-off or out the door on busy days.

A little note on the milk. My favourite non-dairy milk is either Nutty Bruce or just straight pure coconut milk from a can. It's the least expensive way to do non-dairy.

Don't buy the light milk either. If you want to reduce the fat/calories, just water it down a little. You get more for your money that way.

Protein boost - If you did want to increase the protein in this some ideas that are still non-dairy would be:

  • egg whites
  • chia seeds
  • nut butter (almond butter if you're using almond milk)

How To Make Raspberry Dairy Free Smoothie

I'm not sure this one needs photos to demonstrate. All you have to do is throw the ingredients in the blender and blend until smooth.

If you're having trouble with the oats being a bit chunky, it can help to soak them in the milk for 20 minutes before blending.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup frozen raspberries
  • 1 frozen banana
  • Pulp of 3 passionfruit
  • ¼ cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup So Good Almond & Coconut milk

Instructions

  • Place all the ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.

Notes

Texture: Make sure you blend the smoothie well so there are no oat chunks.
Protein: If you want to add protein to this but keep it dairy free some options are egg whites, chia seeds or almond butter.
Milk: Our favourite brand of non-dairy milk in Aus is Nutty Bruce. If you don't have it look for alternate milks that are in the refrigerator section. They generally have less additives. Alternatively - use pure coconut milk straight out of a tin.

I love your drinking jars and in fact, I bought a couple of cases of them for Archie's party! I lost a few though as we used them for beer and some of the revellers walked out with them! I know what you mean by 'baby brain' - I still have it. I don't think it leaves. What a beautiful looking smoothie. I've also switched to almond milk xx

Firstly, how great is Snapchat! My sister, mum and I send each other many messages per day. And secondly, that milk sounds amazing! Coconut and almond milk! I must look out for it.

So good. I get in trouble from mum if I don't snapchat her every couple of hours.
