By choosing just one traffic stream to focus on, I was able to see results faster and also get a clearer picture of whether the strategy was working or not.
4 Tips to increase traffic from Pinterest
1 Business account
Make sure that you have a Pinterest Business account so that you can see statistics and analytics.
2 Automate
I use Tailwind to schedule by posts to Pinterest.
Without it, it would take me hours but by using Tailwind, I can schedule 50-80 posts per day for a week in less than an hour.
3 50:50
I post 50% from my own blog and 50% of other people's content.
It keeps the content fresh and relevant and is how I fill out my Pinterest boards.
4 Repin Repin Repin
Whenever you have popular content repin, repin, repin.
When you repin a popular post you are telling Pinterest that the content is still relevant and increasing its 'ranking' which means it will be more likely to be shown in search results and as featured content which means more people will see it.
