Snow man Christmas gift tags with glitter - this is an easy craft project to add a handmade touch to your Christmas presents.

Crafting may not be something I should take up full time, but what I lack in skill I make up for with enthusiasm and that counts for something right?

When it comes to Christmas I'm a little bit OCD. Our Christmas tree is decorated with red, white and silver and I like to keep it that way.

Just to take it one step further, I theme my gift wrap every year. There's no mismatching paper under my tree.

Every year I make my own gift tags to stick with the theme. One year they were in the shape of gingerbread men, the next year - reinbird gift tags - and last year I went with simple red bows.

I have no idea where the ideas come from but this year's popped into my head just as I was trying to go to sleep a few weeks ago - snow man Christmas gift tags with glitter.

They're so simple to make and I think they're pretty cute even if I do say so myself.

These little guys are a cinch to make. You will need:

  • glue
  • silver glitter
  • a sharpie
  • gift tags
    or cardboard
  • round stamps of two sizes (I used a champagne and a wine cork)

You might want to try nut free christmas bliss balls.

All you have to do is use the corks to stamp on the glue snow man, sprinkle on the glitter and shake off the excess then leave them to dry. I suggest adding the glitter over a container so you can re-use the excess and not have an awful mess to clean up.

When they're dry, draw on the hat and arms and you're done.

I buy white and kraft paper in bulk and then dress it for whatever the occasion might be with ribbon and what not. This year it's silver glitter ribbon to match the snow man.

What about you? How do you wrap your Christmas presents?

These are so cute - too late for me this year but I have linked to the post on my blog to remind me for next year.

Yes I probably should have posted them a bit earlier Johanna but as you said, good to start getting organised for next year!

I'm the same with crafting. I try but sometimes fall short. These are very cute though Claire and I think you're more skilled than I at it :)

I doubt that Lorraine. You should see the Christmas card I just made Will. I can't draw a star to save myself!

I guess someone has to coordinate Christmas. I only seem to have enough time to use whatever comes to hand first. You would be very upset at my house Claire

I love how you get into the craft. As for me, I'm bloody lousy at it! I do think your little snowmen are very cute and your gift recipients must be really impressed with the personal touch xx

I like my wrap to match my tree too. This year I have a rustic/woodland themed tree so I found printed brown paper wrap. I'm just using twine and/or yarn to decorate them. Have a Merry Christmas!
