I love me a good protein ball/bliss ball but I don't love how long it takes to roll them all. That's why I'm going to show you my hack for how to make bliss balls in 30 seconds
How to make bliss balls in 30 seconds
This little trick came around a couple of years ago not long after my second son was born. I was wanting all-the-snacks to keep up with mothering two boys under two (life was hectic!) and of course, if you've known me for any time at all, you'll know that if there's an easier way to do something I will find it.
I HAD to find a quicker way to make bliss balls.
They were almost literally sustaining me through my days but they took way too long to make meaning they interrupted my feet-up time at nap time.
That was until I had the genius idea to, instead of rolling the mixture into balls, press it into a tin, chill it then slice it up into bliss-ball slice.
LIFE CHANGED!
Yep it was, well still is the simple things that get me so excited.
It works with literally any bliss ball recipe and makes them sooo much quicker and easier to make.
I even (lazily) line my tin with plastic wrap so all I have to do is give the tin a quick rinse and it's clean.
Here are a few of my fav bliss ball recipes
- Nutella bliss balls (by my lovely friend Mums & Bubs Nutritionist)
- Carrot cake bliss balls
- Choc-peanut butter quinoa balls
Now I do have a rather old video of me explaining it just in case you're more of a visual person.
Please excuse my very stiff delivery.
I think I was channeling some sort of infomercial person.
You've been warned.
