Why Choose This Chocolate Cinnamon Fudge Recipe?
- Ease - I may have made it even more simple by using the microwave but I have stove top instructions too.
- DELICIOUS - This fudge is actually irresistible. Cut it in little pieces so you can have more (it's chocolate maths).
This recipe is a different texture to a traditional fudge that is quite firm. This is more like eating chocolate fudge icing that has hardened but doesn't completely melt if you touch it.
The first time I made it I had to package it up and gift it after a taste - I was worried I would eat the lot!

Recipe Ingredients

- Butter - the real stuff that comes wrapped in foil.
- Chocolate - we prefer dark but you can use milk or a combination of the two.
Ingredient Tip
Want to fancy it up? Add toasted nuts (walnuts are delicious).
How to make Easy Chocolate Cinnamon Fudge

Step 1 - I took the super lazy route and threw everything in a heat-proof jug and microwaved it 30 seconds at a time, stirring in between, until it was smooth.
If you're not quite as lazy as me, mix all the ingredients together in a heat-proof bowl and place them over a pot of boiling water but don't let the bowl touch the water.
Step 2 - Stir it all together over the heat until the chocolate has melted & it's all nice and smooth.

Step 3 - Grease and line a square cake tin.
Step 4 - Spread the smooth chocolate fudge mixture into the tin.

Step 5 - Refrigerate for at least 2 hours or until firm.
Step 6 - Run a knife around the ends of the tin and then use the baking paper to lift the slab of fudge out of the tin. Cut into squares. Store in the fridge until serving.
Recipe

Easy Chocolate Cinnamon Fudge
Ingredients
- 1 can sweetened condensed milk
- 2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- 500 g 18oz chocolate chips or chopped up chocolate
- 90 g 3oz butter, cut into cubes at room temperature plus extra for greasing the tin
Instructions
- Butter the base and sides of a 15cm square tin and line the base with baking paper so it extends over the sides of the tin.
- The original method and my method differ slightly. I threw all the ingredients in a microwave-proof jug and zapped it in 30 second blasts in the microwave, stirring between each one until the mixture was smooth.
- Alternatively, place everything in a heat-proof bowl and melt it all together over a pot of boiling water.
- Spread the mixture into the tin and put it in the fridge for at least two hours to set.
- Run a knife around the ends of the fudge then use the over-hanging baking paper to lift the fudge out of the tin.
- Cut it up and serve cold or refrigerate until needed.
- Can be frozen.
