I’m no scrooge.

I’m not going to deny my children their right to a tiny rubbish chocolate every day from the 1st to the 24th of December but this year I’m going to make it a little bit more meaningful.

 

 

My goal one day is that it will be filled with fun activities we can all do together or just fun things to do rather than actual stuff but this year, we’re doing chocolate AND a random act of kindness.

 

 

Christmas is all about the Christmas spirit.

The spirit of giving and that’s what I want my boys to learn and know. I want them to grow up to be kind, loving men.

What better time to teach them than at Christmas?

 

 

So each day, when they eat their chocolate, I will also read out to them their random act of kindness for the next day and together we will do it.

• Buy a gift to put under the Kmart giving tree

 

• Pick one toy to donate

 

• Pick one book to donate
• Write a Christmas card for a neighbour and deliver it

• Buy someone a coffee - find a coffee shop with a buy X and get 1 free, pay for a coffee and get them to stamp a card so that there’s a free one then leave it somewhere for someone to find
