I hope everyone had a fabulous Christmas and indulged just a little too much. I know I definitely did. I celebrated breakfast, lunch and dinner with a full feast but managed to pace myself well enough to enjoy a bowl of ice cream with chocolate fudge after dinner. It was the perfect finish to the perfect day. As I said yesterday, I was the very lucky recipient of a new super duper camera. I was like a kid on, well Christmas! I had it out paparazzi style all day.
Here are some of my pics from the day. Considering I had it on auto 'idiot proof' setting, I think they're pretty fantastic. I can't wait to learn how to make the most of the pics. The food will practically jump out of the computer at you it will be so clear!
This was breakfast entree - let the feasting begin.
Here is breakfast main course. It was so delicious I couldn't stop at one but did ask others to constrain me from going for a third. The 'but it's Christmas' argument isn't a great one to use at 9am when you have an entire day of eating ahead of you.
I discovered the 'pet' setting to take this photo. How cute is he?!
That ends my photo tour for today. Unfortunately, my MacBook Pro has let me down and I fear the motherboard has followed that of my last MacBook straight to heaven. I'll have to wait until Wednesday to take it off to the doctor so might not be able to post very much. Send it very serious get well messages for me.
On the bright side, I was also the very lucky recipient of a Kitchenaid Mixmaster!!! It has been high on my list of greatest kitchen desires for quite some time and I am so very excited to use it. Combine that with Nigella's new book 'Nigella Kitchen' which I also received and there will be some very good recipes (with great photos) coming your way very soon.

Congratulations on your new toy! You must be over the moon with excitement! And I didn't realise that cameras had a pet setting-I must check mine out (not that I have a pet). Merry Christmas! :)

Thanks Lorraine! You'll have to give me some tips. Merry Christmas to you too.
