Looking for a quick and delicious treat? This Mars Bar slice is a beloved classic, combining the chewy goodness of melted Mars Bars with the crispness of Rice Bubbles. It's a no-bake wonder that's perfect for any occasion.

My sister made Mars Bar slice for dessert one night years ago and it was a big hit from that night on.
She just informed me that she first made it in grade three so she was just 8 years old.
Why make this
- It's so easy an 8 year old can make it.
- In the words of my daughter 'it's so so delicious.'
- It's super quick to whip up.
- It's a sweet treat with just 80 calories per serve.

FAQs
Yes you absolutely could use a microwave to melt the mars bars and butter together. Just heat them for 30 seconds at a time, stirring between each one.
Use a regular size Mars Bar (about 50g).
You sure could. It would be super chocolatey.
We haven't tried it but I think it would work rather nicely.
Claire Tip
This Mars Bar slice was always the first thing to disappear from the party table when I was a kid after that first time my sister made it. Now my kids make it – it’s simple enough for them to make themselves (with a bit of guidance melting the bars).

I had no idea that it would be quite low in calories! Another reason to make it! :) I just assumed that it would be really high in calories because it had Mars Bar in the name !
Claire says
It's all the rice bubbles that fill it out and lower the calories. Not a bad way to enjoy a Mars Bar I must say.
