icing sugar

red and blue food colouring

mini Oreos cut in half

mini choc-chip cookies

something to draw on the eyeballs

Red and blue coloured sprinkles
optional.
Instructions
Make the icing by beating the butter until smooth.
Add the icing sugar a little at a time and continue to beat. Add a little milk to get it to a good consistency.
Divide the icing in half and colour one half blue and one half red.
Use a star tip nozzle to pipe rough stars onto the top of each cupcake. Make it rough so it looks like fur.
Sprinkle the top of the cupcake with the same coloured sprinkles.
Draw eyeballs on the white chocolate buttons.
To make The Cookie Monster, attache the 'eyes' then add a choc-chip cookie for his mouth. Crumble some of the cookies first.
To make Elmo, add the eyes then stick a Jaffa in the middle to make his nose.
Cut the Oreos in half and place half on the cupcake to make his mouth.
