How to grease and line a round cake tin
Learn how to quickly and easily line a round cake tin of any size (and really any shaped cake tin with a flat bottom) so your cakes don't stick to the bottom of the tin.

Materials
Cake tin
Pen
Butter
Baking paper
Scissors
Instructions
Cut a piece of baking paper big enough to cover your cake tin.
Lay the sheet of baking paper on the bench and place the tin on top then carefully trace around it.
Cut out the shape of the tin along the line.
Scrunch up the off-cuts of paper and use it to spread the butter on the bottom and sides of the tin.
Press the cut out baking paper into the tin then butter over that too.
Your tin is ready.

If you have a tin that you use regularly, cut a few circles at a time to save you having to do a new one each time.
