These delicious little pancakes featured at our New Years Eve drinks. Yet another super simple recipe that tastes great. You can buy the duck cooked and ready to go then all you need is the pancakes, some Hoisin and shallots and mouths to feed.
The duck comes in a nicely vacuum sealed packet from IGA although I think I’ve seen it at Coles too. It’s Luv-a-duck brand.
Slice the duck up into thin pieces.
Lay out the Peking pancakes. These can be purchased at the Chinese grocer and freeze very well.
Smear each pancake with Hoisin sauce.
Top with a piece of shallot (with the end sticking out) and a piece of duck and roll it up. These can be done the day before and kept in the fridge with a damp towel over the top to keep them fresh.
Serve with pretty decoration and enjoy!
